Senior devops engineer - #1334653

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer to join an amazing Veterinary Diagnostics and Software company. This position would sit within the marketing organization, supporting dashboards used by veterinarians to track metrics around type of visits. This will be a new team, and this individual will have autonomy of the DevOps environment. This individual should have experience leading and owning DevOps infrastructure delivery.

This team will focus on two different infrastructure builds: the first will be a new build for a reporting and dashboarding platform, and the second project will be shifting an existing stack from Salesforce Heroku over to AWS. We are looking for someone who has experience with infrastructure as code technologies (Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible), an expertise in containerization using Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes. In addition to the technical requirements, we are looking for someone with exceptional communication who is solutions-oriented.

Skills and Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer

• 
  

  Experience leading / owning DevOps infrastructure delivery

• 
  

  Extensive AWS experience

• 
  

  Expertise in containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes

• 
  

  Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar tools. - Salesforce Heroku

• 
  

  AWS Certification

• 
  

  Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell null
