Shipping coordinator - #1335184

Our client in Appleton is looking for an International Shipping Coordinator to join their team!

They have been in business for nearly 50 years. They are an industry leader and work with over 100 countries who trust their products and training of the products they provide.

Responsibilities:

• Process customer orders, complying with customer requirements and US Custom regulations of the Department of Commerce
• Apply for export licenses through the US Department of Commerce
• Prepare international shipping documents
• Maintain shipping records
• Collaborate and build relationships with customers, carriers, and agent representatives regarding ground, air, and ocean forwarding
• Track and trace shipments, researching and resolving issues regarding billing or shipping discrepancies
• Communicate with both customers and vendors

General Information:

Hours: Full time, 8:00am-4:30pm, Monday through Friday

Length: Temporary to hire

Pay: $20/hour-$23/hour, based on experience

Location: Appleton, WI

Job ID: 200000

• 2+ years shipping experience
• Highly prefer experience with international shipping
• Experience preparing shipments with FedEx, UPS, DHL and 3PL forwarders
• Word and Excel knowledge
• Experience with an ERP system or inventory management software, preferably Sage, is a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skill
• Attention to detail is key in this role
