Job Description/Daily Tasks (REQUIRED)

Acct. receivable/payable

Prepare monthly billings- 25% of position

35% of position: Order research animals as requested weekly.

Record orders in Vivarium mgt software.

Prepare and distribute internal delivery reports and cage cards.

10%- Process AP transactions for animal supplier invoice.

- Review and reconcile supplier documents regarding animal purchases, process payments in Workday

- Request PO’s.

10%- admin tasks and financial support.

- Provide support to manager as needed.

- Admin duties to support overall dept.

171 Meeting Street Providence RI

Parking: metered, have to move every once in awhile. Parking is a challenge

Position Classification: Onsite, Hybrid and Remote

First 3 months is in office, Hybrid depending on quality of work.

Job Requirements:

Type of experience needed?

Accounting

Number of years of experience needed?

2-3 years. Experience working in a research environment is preferred but not required.

Minimum education requirement?

Associates degree required

Job Responsibilities:

MS office, billing software

What is the ideal personality for someone in this role?

Very attention to detail, knowing accounts receivable and payable

Looking for 2 people to start and may add another.

Will train on the animal care system.

Need to be aware of the position details in terms of ordering and purchasing animals for research.
