Position Overview:

As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with Ascend Nurses, you will be an integral part of our patient care team, ensuring that each individual receives compassionate and attentive support. Your role will encompass a range of tasks designed to assist nursing staff and cater to the unique needs of our diverse patient community.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding.

Monitor and record vital signs under the supervision of nursing staff.

Provide basic patient care, including changing bed linens and ensuring patient comfort.

Transfer and position patients safely, using proper lifting techniques.

Communicate effectively with patients, understanding their needs and relaying any concerns to nursing staff.

Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.

Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance CNA skills.

Qualifications:

Valid CNA certification in RI Current BLS/CPR certification At least one year of experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant Strong interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for patient care Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic healthcare environment.
