We are an Ace Hardware store seeking a dynamic Assistant Store Manager to join our team, playing a pivotal role in our day-to-day operations and the pursuit of company goals.

Key Responsibilities:
Exceptional Customer Service: Be the face of our store, fostering positive relationships with customers and team members, embodying a friendly and approachable demeanor.
Operational Excellence: Ensure the smooth opening and closing of the store, maintaining an organized and customer-friendly environment.
Team Collaboration: Participate actively in management and staff meetings, contributing to effective communication and teamwork.
Staff Support: Assist in the recruitment, training, and scheduling of our dedicated associates.
Department Oversight: Take charge of various aspects, including cashiering, inventory management, merchandising, and the customer service department.

Requirements:
Tech Savvy: Proficient in basic Windows computer operations and experienced with POS software.
Organizational Skills: Strong organizational abilities to manage various store functions effectively.
Basic Office Skills: Possess basic Word and Excel skills for administrative tasks.

Qualifications:
Retail Management Experience: Previous experience in retail management is essential, providing you with the insights needed for success.
Product Knowledge: Familiarity with hardware products and services is preferred.

Physical Requirements:
Physical Agility: Ability to stand, walk, lift (up to 60lbs), and climb as needed to ensure store operations run smoothly.
