The Biden For President Campaign is seeking a Deputy Creative Director to help lead our design and video production teams. This person will work closely with our creative director and other creative team leadership to ensure that the campaign’s creative operations are smooth, process-driven, strategic, and high-quality. We’re looking for someone with experience managing teams of creatives across disciplines, sharp management skills and a knack for process, a commitment to craft, and a vision for how design and video can help us win

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in overseeing our video and design teams
  • Implement processes and help manage multidisciplinary teams on multiple concurrent projects.
  • Write briefs and lead cross-functional meetings
  • Review creative work across video and design for social media, paid media, and other campaign functions
  • Assist in hiring, managing, and coaching creative team members at all levels
  • Assist in managing retrospective and critique processes
  • Work with our testing and analytics partners to help inform creative direction

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience managing creative in a corporate, political, government, or non-profit setting
  • A record of successfully running creative process for marketing campaigns, social media publications, or political campaigns and organizations
  • A strong understanding of current social media best practices
  • A passion for politics and enthusiasm about working to reelect Joe Biden and Kamala Harris
  • Willingness to relocate to Wilmington, DE
