Osborne is opening its first transitional housing and reentry program, The Fulton Community Reentry Center (Fulton). Fulton will provide 140 beds of transitional reentry housing to formerly incarcerated men who would otherwise be homeless after discharge from a correctional facility. Fulton will also provide onsite reentry services, including case management, benefits enrollment, employment, health, and substance use disorder treatment. The facility operates 365 days on a 24-hour basis daily, including evening and weekend hours (some positions will require non-traditional work hours).

We seek a full-time Entitlement Specialist to join the Fulton Community Reentry Center Team. The Entitlement Specialist will ensure all Fulton Community Reentry Center participants are screened and assessed for benefits eligibility and support the participant with the application process.

Salary range: $27.47-$28.85 hourly

Requirements:

Essential Duties:

  • Accurately and timely screen participants for entitlement eligibility
  • Assist eligible participants with applying for and recertification of entitlements including but not limited TANF, SNAP, SSI and Medicaid benefits
  • Assist participants in obtaining identification such as birth certificates, social security cards, government identification, or any documents required for application processes
  • Assist the participant with resolving any entitlement and benefit issues
  • Creating, analyzing, and submitting reports as required
  • Enter participant information into the database, including but not limited to intake notes
  • Coordinate events with external resources to provide education and information regarding entitlements available to participants
  • Participate in all related trainings including but not limited Single Stop/ TANF, SNAP, SSI, DHS, and Medicaid
  • Participate in interdepartmental meetings to increase awareness of various program services
  • In-person collaboration is an essential function of the job
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred
  • Three years of experience in public entitlement enrollment required
  • Experience working in social services or human services preferred

  • Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization and build strong relationships
