In this role, perform contracts management functions across the spectrum of actions associated with the F-35 Sustainment Performance Based Logistics and Annualized Sustainment efforts, from proposal development, negotiations, contract award, and all phases of contract administration. Provide business advice and guidance to and coordinate with other functions including program management, finance, legal, subcontracts, sustainment operations, human resources, accounting, and compliance to effectively manage a breadth of responsibilities, including contract solicitations / capture, negotiations, and contract terms, including fulfillment of related obligations. Develops and applies solutions to unusually complex problems which require the regular use of a high degree of ingenuity, creativity, and innovation. Serve as authorized, empowered representative for the Company as interface with Customer buying representatives responsible for building effective relationships and managing contracts to support business goals and objectives. Coordinate solutions to contractual issues and Customer concerns related to Company performance. Ensure contractual compliance with all laws and regulations, and adherence to Delegation of Authority and approval requirements for proposals and contractual actions. Lead and support audits, as appropriate, with internal and external audit teams and agencies to support contract-related activities and verify compliance. Ensure final contract documents are consistent with agreements reached at negotiations. May plan and participate in training of contract practices within Company. Collect contractual data and compiles reports in response to Corporate and Business Area requests

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
  • Experience with all phases of proposal development, contracts negotiation and administration.
  • DoD Contracting Experience
Desired Skills:
  • Experience with FAR/DFARs
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Should be detail and teamwork oriented.
  • Candidate willing and able to engage on routine and unique problems/issues to help develop solutions for multi-billion dollar complex contracts.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
