How You'll Shine

Under the direction of the Business Operations Director, this role will be responsible for multiple departments including Control Room, Sales Operations and coordination of local and vendor marketing

  • Lead teams in alignment with Wyndham’s service culture. Hire, train, coach, and develop associates to achieve department goals within approved budget. Monitor associates performance to maximize team effectiveness and productivity. Take appropriate corrective disciplinary action as necessary. Ensure compliance with all corporate policies and Business Unit SOPs.
  • Analyze, forecast, and identify trends to implement strategies in order to effectively direct tour flow and maximize allotments.
  • Ensure all tours are scheduled according to proper qualifications and booking procedures. Maintain updated tour flow wave target information and adjust targets as needed.
  • Communicate, review, validate, and approve month-end close process, to include accruals, site fees, premium credits, and safe-house tours for site sales and marketing departments. Ensure timely submission to corporate accounting. Review, and/or approve check requests, vendor billing, and cash reconciliations.
  • Ensure accurate and timely invoicing to marketing vendors.
  • Directing and ensuring internal budgets, controls, corporate policies and procedures are established and are being adhered to at all levels within the Business Unit
  • Performs other duties as needed or assigned

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written form
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and implement projects with little supervision
  • Ability to manage departments and work in multiple locations during the work week.
  • Possess strong time management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge and application of Accounting processes and practices
  • Ability to build strong working relationships and partner well with other departments
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft, specifically excel
  • Extensive knowledge of web-based systems and databases, preferred
  • Minimum 1 year experience in Sales & Marketing Operations Preferred
