Join our client's team as a Senior Superintendent and step into a pivotal role in the construction industry. Compensation: $125,000.00 – $160,000.00 + Bonus + Company Truck
Location: New Castle County, DE – Onsite
Responsibilities as the Senior Construction Superintendent include:
- Oversee and manage ground-up construction projects in varying sectors.
- Lead project planning, scheduling, and execution, ensuring adherence to quality standards, timelines, and budgetary constraints.
- Coordinate with project stakeholders, including owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors, to facilitate smooth project progression and resolve issues promptly.
- Provide hands-on leadership to onsite construction teams, including foremen, tradespeople, and laborers, fostering a culture of safety, productivity, and quality workmanship.
- Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks to monitor progress, identify potential risks, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Manage project documentation and reporting, including daily logs, progress reports, change orders, and as-built drawings, to ensure accurate record-keeping and compliance with project requirements.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for project-related communications, addressing inquiries, resolving conflicts, and maintaining positive relationships with all stakeholders.
Qualifications of the Senior Construction Superintendent include:
- 10+ years of supervisory experience in construction, with a proven track record of successfully managing ground-up projects.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire onsite teams to achieve project goals and objectives.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools, such as Procore, Primavera P6, or similar platforms.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and excellence in construction practices.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
