Responsibilities and Duties:

1. Assessing patients before surgery to ensure they are in good health and fit for the procedure.

2. Preparing the operating room and equipment for surgery.

3. Assisting surgeons during procedures by passing instruments, monitoring vital signs, and providing necessary supplies.

4. Administering medications and anesthesia as needed.

5. Monitoring patients post-operation and providing appropriate care and support.

6. Collaborating with healthcare team members to ensure patients receive high-quality care.

7. Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation.

8. Adhering to all safety protocols and infection control measures.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Valid RN license in the state of practice
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
• CPR certification
• At least 2 years of nursing experience in an operating room setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
