RETAIL STORE MANAGER - SoHa Keiki

POSITION SUMMARY

This posting is to Manage our Keiki store which are side by side on 2435 Ka‘anapali Parkway. The Retail Store Manager plays a vital role in overseeing the daily operations and overall success of a retail store. They are responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service, driving sales growth, managing inventory, and leading a team of employees. The Store Manager is a proactive and results-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic retail environment.

OBJECTIVES

  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team to deliver excellent customer service and achieve sales targets.
  • Set clear performance expectations, provide feedback, and conduct regular performance evaluations for store employees.
  • Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, collaboration, and employee engagement.
  • Delegate tasks effectively and ensure efficient scheduling to optimize store productivity.
  • Drive sales growth by implementing effective merchandising strategies, product promotions, and sales techniques.
  • Monitor sales performance and analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement and implement appropriate measures.
  • Ensure exceptional customer service by training staff on customer engagement, resolving customer complaints, and maintaining a customer-focused store atmosphere.
  • Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and security measures.
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels through regular stock checks, replenishment orders, and efficient stock management practices.
  • Monitor product quality, pricing, and availability to meet customer demands and maximize sales opportunities.
  • Monitor and analyze sales trends, expenses, and budgetary goals to drive profitability.
  • Develop and execute strategies to achieve sales targets, manage costs, and optimize store performance.
  • Generate sales reports, track key performance indicators, and provide regular updates to upper management.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and adjust business strategies accordingly.

COMPETENCIES

  • Previous experience in a retail management role, demonstrating a track record of achieving sales targets and driving operational excellence.
  • Strong leadership abilities, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in retail software systems, inventory management, and point-of-sale (POS) operations.
  • Sound financial acumen with the ability to analyze data, develop budgets, and manage store profitability.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the retail industry.
  • A passion for retail, a keen eye for visual merchandising, and a commitment to delivering an outstanding customer experience.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be able to safely climb a ladder.
  • Moving and standing for long periods of time.
  • Bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, pushing, pulling and moving items up to 45lbs.
