We have a new Per Diem opportunity for a RN- Registered Nurse in Baltimore, MD.

Position Overview: As a Registered Nurse with Ascend Nurses, you will be at the forefront of patient care, ensuring optimal health and well-being for each individual under your care. Your role will involve a range of duties that cater to the unique needs of our diverse patient population.

Key Responsibilities:

1) Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify health needs and provide appropriate interventions 2) Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians 3) Monitor and record patient vital signs, ensuring timely reporting of any anomalies 4) Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans 5) Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health conditions and treatment plans 6) Ensure all care activities are compliant with established protocols and regulatory guidelines 7) Participate in continuous professional development activities to stay updated with the latest nursing practices.

Qualifications:

Valid RN license in MD Current BLS/CPR certification A minimum of one year of nursing experience, preferably in a diverse care setting Strong clinical, interpersonal, and communication skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
