Job Overview

We are currently seeking a Deputy Director of People Operations to oversee all aspects of our organization's People Operations (HR) functions. In this role, you will spearhead initiatives to bolster our capacity and expertise in alignment with our strategic objectives. Your focus will be on nurturing a robust organizational culture characterized by employee engagement and productivity, while implementing policies and procedures to optimize our workforce's effectiveness and efficiency.

Reporting to the Director of Operations as part of our Operations department, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring that the has the people, processes, and platforms to thrive and advance our mission.

Leadership

Responsibilities Include:

Lead and support the growth and development of the People Operations team.

Contribute to the execution of our Organizational Health strategy within the framework of our strategic plan.

Serve as the system administrator for our Human Resources Information System (HRIS), BambooHR.

Recruiting And Staffing

Oversee staffing plans, recruitment efforts, and onboarding processes.

Collaborate with leadership to maintain a functional organizational structure and competitive salary ranges.

Total Rewards

Partner with benefits consultants to analyze and enhance our benefits offerings annually.

Lead compensation analysis initiatives and manage payroll processes within the HRIS.

Culture, Engagement, And Learning/Development

Develop and implement strategic plans to foster team engagement, morale, and professional growth.

Facilitate staff recognition programs, learning opportunities, and social events.

Policies And Processes

Update and enforce compliance with various policies and processes, including the employee handbook.

Manage the Semiannual Review Process (SRP) to ensure alignment with organizational goals.

Employee Relations

Address employee concerns and complaints in a timely and professional manner.

Provide support to managers in performance management and separation processes.

Qualifications

Experience:

10+ years of experience in Human Resources (HR) or People Operations roles.

Proficiency across all areas of HR, including Recruiting, Total Rewards, Culture and Engagement, and Employee Relations.

Prior experience in managing HR or People Operations teams is essential.

Familiarity with HRIS platforms, preferably BambooHR.
