Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team. This role is critical to ensuring the firm's financial health and sustainability by managing and securing client payments.

Responsibilities

• Collections Management: Proactively collect outstanding payments from clients spanning the past 10 years to the current period. This involves thorough research, identifying discrepancies, and maintaining accurate records.
• Payment Verification: Regularly confirm receipt of payments across various platforms and reconcile any discrepancies.
• Payment Plan Coordination: Assist clients in establishing or transitioning to automatic payment plans for smoother transactions.
• Record Keeping: Maintain detailed and confidential records of client interactions, payments, and account statuses using financial software.
• Client Communication: Utilize various communication methods to effectively reach out to clients regarding their accounts.
• Reporting: Compile and present regular reports on collection efforts and account statuses for management review.
• Performance Goals: Achieve weekly collection targets and adhere to minimum daily call requirements.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bilingual proficiency to communicate effectively with our diverse client base.
• Demonstrated customer service skills with professionalism and patience.
• Strong negotiation skills to navigate payment discussions.
• Friendly yet assertive demeanor in addressing financial matters.
• Proactive problem-solving ability.
• Preferably a degree in finance, accounting, or relevant experience.

Compensation

$6 - $8 hourly
