This role is based remotely but if you live within a 50-mile radius of Warren, MI, you are expected to report to that location three times a week, at minimum

The Role:

As a part of GM's Enterprise Innovation Operations group, you will design, build, and implement programs to provide our team with key tools and skills to drives a culture of innovation and enhance our talent strategies to live Enterprise Innovations behaviors. In this role, you will work at all levels of the organization and partner with key groups such as HR Business Partners and GM's Enterprise Culture team.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead the design, development and implementation of strategies aimed at fostering a culture of innovation for the Enterprise Innovation Organization
  • Collaborate closely with GM’s Enterprise Culture Team to exchange insights and best practices in innovation culture.
  • Facilitate engaging team activities for driving cultural changes within Enterprise Innovation.
  • Conduct empathy interviews to obtain insights, needs and gaps within our cultural and team talent.
  • Define and implement metrics to measuring success Enterprise Innovation behaviors and Innovation cultural transformation.
  • Cultivate and nurture strategic partnerships with internal stakeholders and external resources.
  • Stay up to date on latest trends and innovation practices in talent development and cultural transformation, leveraging this knowledge to refine processes and tools.
  • Ensure alignment of solutions to GM’s overarching talent strategy and strategic priorities.
  • Develop and continuously refine objective and key results.
  • Assess the capabilities of talent within Enterprise Innovation and develop tailored upskilling strategies.
  • Conduct research, develop and implement training programs on emerging technologies and skills
  • Lead training sessions for design thinking and lean start up methodologies


Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications):

  • 5+ Years experience in Strategy, Change Management, Innovation or Project Management Strong understanding of change management principles and practices
  • Ability to communicate vision and inspire and motivate others.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to convey messaging clearly and persuasively.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships cross-functionally.
  • Ability to be flexible, adaptable and challenge the status quo.
  • Comfortable working with metrics and using data and insights to drive continuous improvements and measure results.
  • Experience with design thinking and lean startup methodology
  • Proficiency in facilitating workshops, brainstorming sessions, and team activities aimed at fostering creativity, collaboration, and cultural change.

Compensation: The compensation information is a good faith estimate only. It is based on what a successful applicant might be paid in accordance with applicable state laws. The compensation may not be representative for positions located outside of New York, Colorado, California, or Washington.

  • The salary range for this role is $83,800 - $133,900. The actual base salary a successful candidate will be offered within this range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
  • Bonus Potential: An incentive pay program offers payouts based on company performance, job level, and individual performance.
