Introduction:
The Maintenance Lead position will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the maintenance department, including developing and implementing maintenance policies and procedures, managing the preventive maintenance program, hiring, and training maintenance personnel, managing the department's budget, and monitoring the department's performance. The maintenance manager will work closely with other departments to coordinate maintenance activities, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and manage emergency maintenance requests. They will also be responsible for maintaining an inventory of spare parts, tools, and equipment, and for continuously evaluating and implementing new technologies and techniques to improve maintenance processes.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement maintenance policies and procedures.
- Develop and maintain a preventive maintenance program for all equipment and machinery.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and contractors.
- Coordinate maintenance activities with other departments to minimize downtime and disruption.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable safety regulations and standards.
- Develop and maintain inventory of spare parts, tools, and equipment.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of maintenance programs.
- Develop and implement a system for tracking maintenance work orders.
- Provide regular reports on maintenance activities to upper management.
- Identify opportunities to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of maintenance processes.
- Manage emergency maintenance requests in a timely and effective manner.
- Continuously evaluate and implement new technologies and techniques to improve maintenance processes.
- Oversee maintenance staff and assign daily tasks.
- Actively participate in the completion of day-to-day activities involving facility and equipment maintenance and repairs.
Job Requirements
- 2 - 5 years’ industrial maintenance experience; agricultural or food processing preferred.
- Bachelor’s or associate degree; additional experience will be considered in lieu of educational requirement.
- Prior experience in a supervisory role with a demonstrated ability to effectively manage others.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- Strong technical aptitude, including working knowledge of electrical systems, mechanical systems, and manufacturing equipment. Understanding of industrial automation is a plus.
- Proficient computer skills and familiarity with CMMS.
- Ability to work indoors/outdoors in various industrial settings with exposure to noise, dust, and various weather conditions as needed.

Compensation details: 30-35 Hourly Wage
