The Content Marketing Manager will be responsible for overseeing the planning and execution of content strategies aimed at driving awareness, engagement, and revenue growth for URBN Playground. The key focus will be promoting app services and offerings from URBN and our partners. This role requires a strategic mindset, strong storytelling and creative skills, and a passion for creating impactful content that resonates with our target audience.

What You Will Do

This is a highly collaborative role that will define and continuously enhance the brand identity and marketing content for URBN Playground. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Working closely with the Marketing, Sales, and Product teams to understand business objectives and develop content strategies that support these goals.
  • Creating, managing, scheduling, and optimizing content across various channels, including website, social media, email, and more, to drive brand awareness and customer engagement.
  • Supporting site-level managers in the field in creating marketing content that is personalized to the unique needs of their individual sites.
  • Developing a deep understanding of our target audience and market trends to tailor content that resonates with our customers and drives results.
  • Managing a team of content creators and freelancers, providing guidance, feedback, and support to ensure high-quality content production.
  • Sourcing, onboarding, and promoting partners to offer services and promotions on the URBN Playground app.
  • Setting clear goals and metrics for content, and tracking and analyzing performance metrics to measure success and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders (clients, partners, field-level leadership, top leadership) to ensure brand alignment and consistency across all content touchpoints.
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in content marketing to continuously innovate and improve our strategies.


What You Require

  • 5-7 years of experience in content marketing, with a proven track record of developing and executing successful content strategies.
  • A passion for storytelling and a deep understanding of content marketing principles and best practices, with the ability to craft compelling content that drives engagement and conversion.
  • Strong leadership, collaboration, and management skills, with experience leading team members to achieve goals and deliver results.
  • A strategic mindset, with the ability to think creatively and analytically to solve complex problems and drive business growth.
  • Experience in the consumer products, hospitality, events, or online marketplaces industries is a plus.
  • A growth mindset, bias to action, extreme ownership, and humility.
  • A deep passion for the industry and genuine care for the customers (residents and tenants) that we serve.


Full-time. Starting salary of $62,500-65,000k annually, plus medical/vision/dental plans, paid vacation, paid sick, paid holidays, commuter benefits.
