JOB DESCRIPTION This is a unique opportunity to join the organization at an expansion stage and help build talent and culture from the ground up, as we build Trex's new location in Little Rock. A high level of accountability and coordination, along with a focus on relationships and willingness to travel regularly to other established locations during the early months of this role will be key components to success. We are looking for an HR Manager to help us align people, processes, and technology across the campus. As a Trex HR Manager, you will be expected to implement and streamline operations while enabling continuous improvement to recruit and maintain an engaged and stable workforce at our new greenfield facility in Little Rock, AR This role is a key member of our Human Resources team. Put safety first - Always

Lead and foster our "people first" culture.

Partner with the manufacturing management team and HR leadership to define the human resources goals along with tactical management planning for the facilities.

Act as an advisor on human resources issues to the site management team and all levels of employees throughout the site. Establish credibility throughout the organization to be an effective problem solver and strong collaborator.

Lead all employee relations activities including, but not limited to, investigations, discipline, retention activities, stay interviews, and employee events.

Partner with HR leaders in the functional areas of recruiting, talent development, compensation, and benefits to ensure that both employee needs and company goals are being met.

Able to lead best-in-class recruiting and onboarding processes for local workforce.

Coordination with local educational resources to implement and execute necessary training and development programs.

Develop HR generalist team to become business partners with their established groups at the facilities.

Collaborate with other site HR managers and HR leadership to provide input on policy changes and updates. Ensure that policies and practices are up-to-date and driving the desired behaviors and results.

Ensure legal compliance by having well-defined and applied practices and processes that are also easily maintainable. EXPERIENCE We are looking for leaders with at least 8 years of broad-based HR experience, 3-5 years of which must be at the management level. A bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or a related field is strongly preferred. Strong HR experience will be considered in place of a degree. Certification through HRCI or SHRM is preferred. We want to hear from you if you have previous experience as an HR Generalist or HR Manager.
