Job Description
Oversees all official Jacksonville Sheriff's Office projects, including their current status, estimated timelines, ownership, and priority ratings (as assigned by the Sheriff and Undersheriff).
Examples of Work
- Facilitates continuous improvement events and meetings.
- Updates management of projects and receives priorities for new projects.
- Implements continuous improvement techniques within projects to improve process efficiency and employee productivity.
- Facilitates, mentors, coaches, and trains individuals in the use of various continuous improvement, problem solving, leadership, process evaluation, and process improvement tools and techniques.
- Research best practices and industry standards with an emphasis on process improvement.
- Assists units in establishing and managing 94Net sites.
- Trains site owners on proper SharePoint use and practices.
- Ability to prepare and interpret flowcharts, schedules and step-by-step action plans
- Solid organizational skills including multitasking and time-management
- Strong teamworking skills
- Strong working knowledge SharePoint
- Exceptional communication skills
- 2 years of project management experience
- Preferred PMP certification
