The Scheduling Coordinator is responsible for daily scheduling visits to the appropriate clinical staff. In addition, the Scheduler will have general oversight of regulatory requirements related to visit frequencies.

- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Must have two (2) years of experience scheduling in a hospice or healthcare environment
- Must have experience with healthcare software programs
- Use electronic medical record (EMR), schedule patient visits according to plan of care and staff availability for nurses and aides
- Use EMR, enter scheduling data, and create schedules
- Communicate changes in schedules to staff and patients
- Prioritize urgency of unexpected visit needs and schedule clinical staff
- Provide quality review of visit frequencies and missed visits
- Provide quality reports to the appropriate supervisor and/or case manager
- Assist nursing staff with urgent medication orders, DME needs, etc.
- Must comply with company policies, procedures, and processes in addition to Hospice and Homecare rules and regulations
- Other duties assigned by Business Office Manager or Director
