- 6+ years of professional experience in leadership roles within technology, business analysis, or business.
- 3+ years of product ownership experience.
- Knowledge and experience in the Investment Management industry.
- Proven track record as a product owner in an agile/scrum software development organization, with an understanding of the development lifecycle.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent work items independently.
- Strong decision-making skills in managing complex and evolving priority lists and resolving conflicts.
- Value-oriented mindset.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, adept at effectively engaging both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, bringing clarity to business objectives, requirements, and priorities.
- Proficiency in business and functional requirements, including elicitation, planning, documentation, analysis, and alignment with standards.
- Proficiency in leading through change, fostering effective partnerships, and driving collaboration with peers and vendor resources.
- Serve as the voice of the customers, understanding business needs and translating them into technical requirements.
- Collaborate with business partners to define future products and roadmap.
- Understand and communicate the technology vision and strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and priorities.
- Establish strong relationships with investment teams, operations, and information technology team members.
- Conduct data-driven analysis and provide recommendations to guide decision-making.
- Play a key role in the scrum team to ensure development processes align with the product roadmap.
- Effectively manage the Product Backlog to maximize delivered value by setting sprint goals and priorities, and clearly communicating product backlog items.
- Define user stories based on customer requirements, translate business needs into technical requirements, including creating user stories, synthesizing use cases, defining acceptance criteria, and documenting features overview.
- Coordinate and support testing of new products and features.
- Bachelor's Degree in computer science, finance, business administration, or related field required; graduate degree is a plus.
