Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Sheet Metal Fabricator to join our team. As a Sheet Metal Fabricator, you will be responsible for interpreting blueprints, designing and fabricating sheet metal components, and ensuring the quality and precision of the final product.
Responsibilities
- Interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to determine sheet metal requirements
- Use various tools and machinery to cut, bend, and shape sheet metal
- Operate welding equipment to join metals
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
- Collaborate with engineers and other team members to troubleshoot and improve designs
- Maintain equipment and tools in proper working condition
- Proven experience as a Sheet Metal Fabricator or similar role is preferred but not required
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings is a plus
- Willingness to use sheet metal fabrication tools and machinery
- Working with different types of metals and their properties
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Certification in welding or related field is a plus
