As we continue to expand, we are seeking a motivated and skilled Construction Assistant Project Manager to join our team.
Position Overview
As a Construction Assistant Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the successful execution of construction projects from inception to completion. You will work closely with the Project Manager to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget while maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance.
Responsibilities
– Assist the Project Manager in coordinating and managing all aspects of construction projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
– Collaborate with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
– Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance.
– Assist in preparing project budgets, cost estimates, and schedules.
– Track project expenses and maintain accurate records of all financial transactions.
– Assist in managing project documentation, including contracts, permits, and change orders.
– Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and regulatory authorities.
– Assist in resolving project issues and conflicts in a timely and efficient manner.
– Support the Project Manager in implementing and enforcing safety protocols and quality control procedures.
Qualifications
– Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
– Previous experience in construction project management or related role preferred.
– Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
– Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
– Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
– OSHA certification or willingness to obtain certification.
