Metal Grinder - #1341968

Candidates with experience in a manufacturing environment autobody shop who enjoys working with their hands in a fast pace enviornment will enjoy this role!

Responsibilities

• Operate Hand Tools: Grinder, sander, polisher, and clean edges and parts on precision welded parts.
• Material Handling: Organize, stage, and move materials as required using overhead cranes and/or other material handling equipment (forklift).
• Assembly: Assemble the products per specification and meet all quality requirements.
• Blueprints: Read and interpret blueprints and instructions for shipment preparation.
  
  

Education And Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Hand Tool Experience: Grinding, Sanding, Polishing
• Forklift certification or ability to acquire the certification.
• Experience in the manufacturing industry is desired.
  
  

Required Licensing/Registration/Certification

• Valid Driver’s License
  
  

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of standing, pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying materials.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time.

• Strong attention to detail with ability to focus on a given task.
• Enthusiastic about learning new skills and technology.
• Effective time-management tactical approach to work prioritization.
