This position oversees the National Accounts team, all new and existing distributor chain teams, National Accounts pricing, programming, budgets, forecasting, and serves as the company’s key link to the state of the National Accounts business across every market in the country. This position covers multiple states and is responsible for the growth of New Belgium business.


Essential Duties:


People Development

  • Responsible for overseeing development plans and work objectives for all team members
  • Responsible for growing all Chain Directors and Key Account Managers skill sets
  • Conducts monthly team meetings, business reviews, training sessions, and annual team building
  • Oversees budget responsibility for entire chain team.

Distributor Partnerships

  • Builds partnerships at all distributors and add more value than competitors
  • Oversees development and performance against all Annual Market Plans and ensures distributors are maintaining NBB’s market execution standards
  • Performs key distributor network meetings annually and monthly business reviews
  • Oversees chain sampling budgets by state/distributor

Market & Brand Development

  • Oversees the growth and development of NBB brands within National Accounts while ensuring NBB’s brand integrity.
  • Identifies brand-building opportunities for all National Accounts in the country., while creating customized key growth strategies and actions plans
  • Creates annual programming calendar for National Accounts
  • Performs or attends quarterly business reviews with key National Account buyers
  • Ensures NBB is growing share over top craft competitors
  • Responsible for achieving NBB financial targets and maintaining or improving National profitability within the National Account universe
  • Works with the Sales VPs on pricing strategy for each market.
  • Responsible for contributing to the company’s supply chain management process (S&OP) by providing monthly National Accounts development updates
  • Ensuring that the National Accounts team is aligned with our Field Sales team.
  • Other projects and duties as assigned


Education/ Experience/Skills:

  • 8-10 years of a proven track record as a top performer in beverage sales and national account management.
  • Must have thorough understanding of distributor workings, national accounts, brand building, people development, basic computer skills and pricing dynamics.
