The Role

Proofpoint is looking for a highly experienced business leader in the position of VP of Product Marketing. This person will be responsible for leading the product marketing teams for Proofpoint Information Protection and Proofpoint Compliance. This leader will report to our Group VP of Product Marketing and be responsible for the go-to-market efforts for these products.

• Create go-to-market strategy with key stakeholders that will drive accelerated growth of the businesses
• Develop messaging frameworks for new and existing products with our product management and sales leadership
• Develop sales tools and enablement that scales and increases sales productivity
• Create strong partnerships with cross-functional teams to achieve business success
• Set the business priorities for the product marketing team
• Coach, mentor, and develop the team
  
  

What You Bring To The Team

• An experienced business leader with a minimum of 15+ years of go-to-market experience in cybersecurity, data security, and compliance
• A strong go-to-market leader that has experience in driving accelerated growth for a business
• A strong people leader with a minimum of 5 years of leadership experience
• An organization leader that keeps business objectives in mind while leading the teams to success
• A strong presenter with the ability to convey complex topics in simple ways through compelling stories
