Your Mission is:

The Analytics Insights team is seeking a talented Intermediate Data Analyst to work directly with and support partners such as Finance, Product, Player Insights, Sales, and Supply Chain, while also collaborating with studios for Call of Duty (COD). As part of the Analytics Insights team, your mission will be to drive data-driven decision-making through ad-hoc analysis, reporting, and dashboarding. You’ll work closely with cross-functional partners, business stakeholders, Activision leadership, and analytics peers to derive meaningful insights and provide strategic recommendations for the business. Additionally, you will partner with our Finance, Product, and Marketing teams to analyze game features, report revenue, and identify new ways to boost player engagement and monetization.

Responsibilities

  • Support partners such as Finance, Product, Player Insights, Sales, Supply Chain in cross-functional projects to discover insights that will guide the strategic decisions and uncover optimized opportunities.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to investigate topics related to fraud & disruptive behavior, franchise strategic opportunities, and finance and COD mainline priorities.
  • Support and drive analytics initiatives within a cross-functional team to inform design and implementation decisions, through dashboards and presentation deliverables.
  • Present analytical findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences, translating complex data into actionable insights.

Player Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (e.g., data analytics, data science, statistics, economics, or mathematics).
  • 3+ years of experience with SQL and R/Python for data analysis and visualization.
  • A passion for storytelling through data, turning complex datasets into compelling narratives.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to manage diverse stakeholder relationships and expectations.
  • Experience in gameplay analysis or knowledge of user engagement and monetization strategies in gaming, entertainment, e-commerce, or mobile apps is a plus.

In the U.S., the standard base pay range for this role is $34.28 - $63.42 Hourly. These values reflect the expected base pay range of new hires across all U.S. locations. Ultimately, your specific range and offer will be based on several factors, including relevant experience, performance, and work location. Your Talent Professional can share this role’s range details for your local geography during the hiring process. In addition to a competitive base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for incentive compensation. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed.
