Position Summary

FXI is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Vice President, Strategic Retail, to lead and expand our strategic partnerships with major retail chains. This sales executive will be responsible for driving revenue growth, enhancing customer relationships, and developing innovative go-to-market strategies tailored to large-scale retail distribution. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in retail account management, business development, and category leadership within the consumer goods industry.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a strategic vision for FXI’s Strategic Retail business, ensuring alignment with corporate growth objectives.
  • Lead and manage key relationships with national and regional big box retailers, driving sales and revenue performance.
  • Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, including product expansion and category development.
  • Oversee contract negotiations, pricing strategies, and promotional planning to maximize profitability and market share.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product development, marketing, operations, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and consumer insights to inform strategy and product innovation.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of sales and account management professionals.
  • Establish key performance metrics and continuously evaluate success against goals, making data-driven decisions to optimize performance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • 15+ years of experience in sales, business development, or retail account management, with a proven track record in the consumer goods sector.
  • Strong leadership experience with a history of building and managing high-performing teams.
  • Deep knowledge of big box retail dynamics, including merchandising, pricing, and promotional strategies within Target, Kohl’s, BJ’s, Home Depot, Lowe’s, Off-Price and more.
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to navigate complex supply chain and operational challenges in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience leveraging data to drive decision-making.
