Associate Data Scientist. The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company. Akron, OH.
Provide data science expertise to technical projects for the development of new data-driven applications. Partner with project leadership to define technical strategies and manage technical aspects of projects. Leverage data science technologies to develop data models and algorithms for new applications. Build data pipelines to enable access to additional data streams for new modeling applications. Work with internal partners to define requirements for next generation of data reports.
Masters (or foreign equivalent) degree in Statistics, Data Analytics, or a related field of study that teaches the body of highly specialized knowledge of quantitative analysis. Need 1 yr. exp. as a Data Scientist, Data Analyst, Data Intern or related role. Need 1 yr. exp. working with the technical mentors to provide support for existing data analytics and reporting capabilities developed within the Data Science team. Need 1 yr. exp. developing understanding of tire specific processes including tire manufacturing and tire design processes. Need 1 yr. exp. assisting with managing (acquire, clean, process) data input streams for existing data applications. Need 1 yr. exp. conducting standard data analysis on new data inputs to generate insights. Need 1 yr. exp. assisting with managing current reporting applications and develop new reporting features to share data insights with partners.
