- Supervise coding and charge entry staff to improve revenue processes and address insurance and reimbursement issues within community-based BU.
- Foster a culture of service excellence by consistently meeting internal and external customer requirements.
- Lead assigned committees and oversee special project activities, providing direction and leadership.
- Implement and evaluate quality initiatives to improve patient outcomes, including patient access and satisfaction efforts.
- Collaborate with managers and division chiefs to develop action plans that exceed customer expectations and improve service levels.
- Develop, monitor, and manage BU operating and capital budgets, ensuring compliance with financial goals across departments.
- Oversee charge lag processes to ensure timely fee entry into EPIC systems and maximize reimbursement strategies.
- Manage human resources functions within BU, including recruitment, performance evaluations, and staff mentoring, while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Bachelor's Degree in Health Care Administration, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related field / 5 years of experience
- OR - Bachelor's Degree in Health Care Administration, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related field / FMR Program Graduate / 3 years of experience
- OR - Master's Degree in Health Care Administration, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related field / 3 years of experience
- OR - Master's Degree in Health Care Administration, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related field / Fellowship Program Graduate / 3 years of experience
- Advanced knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local laws as they pertain to physician BU management
- Knowledge of revenue cycle, physician billing, and contracts
