Summary And Scope
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for ensuring that a company's inventory records are accurate and up to date, overseeing the count of all physical inventories, generating department audit reports, reconciling computer data with the physical counts taken, and reporting on errors found. The Warehouse Manager will oversee the shipping, storage, and supply of Deployed Resources materials and equipment and will assist in developing and executing innovative solutions to maximize efficiency and productivity.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, see, hear, stand, walk, bend, twist, kneel, climb, engage in repetitive motions, and use hands and fingers to manipulate objects, tools, or controls. May routinely and repetitively lift and carry materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds unassisted (or heavier with the use of proper equipment and procedures).
Expected Hours of Work
The ability to work flexible hours including nights, holidays, and weekends will be required based on contract needs. It is expected for this position to attend regular meetings during typical work hours in Eastern Standard Time as well as meetings as needed for assigned projects in other time zones.
Work Environment
This job operates in office, facility, warehouse, and field environments which require the use and wear of standard PPE, which will be provided by the company. We operate 24/7/365, inside and outside, in all weather conditions. There is an expectation of clear communication in English both written and orally.
Travel
This position requires 30% - 70% travel. Travel is dependent on contract load. The ability to travel to job sites and be away for extended periods of time based on contract needs is required. Short notice travel is required with 24-48 hours’ notice.

Essential Functions
Inventory Control
- Maintain detailed inventories of materials and supplies located at all sites throughout the company.
- Produce regular and on-request inventory reports.
- Maintain inventory system.
- Ensure inventory is stored in proper location by disposition.
- Coordinate strategic placement of inventories throughout Deployed Resources facilities and job sites.
- Perform physical inventory counts.
- Assist with creating, implementing, and revising new and existing inventory practices and quality control measures.
- Supervise, train, and mentor employees, including reinforcement of safety guidelines.
- Regularly visit active locations to review inventory movement needs.
- Serve as subject matter expert on DRAT and inventory-related matters.
- Collaborate with interdepartmental personnel to identify ways to enhance overall operations.
- Build relationships within the company and with external parties, such as suppliers or distributors.
- Tracks status of loose item requests/orders and shipments
- Ensures all orders are confirmed, packed, shipped, delivered, and received on time.
- Communicates with appropriate personnel to confirm receipt and delivery of requested items.
- Prepare and modify documents including correspondence, reports, drafts, memos, and emails.
- Assist warehouse manager in shipping and receiving, creating related processes, and teaching shipping receiving processes.
- Coordinate projects with asset tracking team.
- Manage asset reservations.
- Record purchases.
- Visit active locations to audit inventories and procedures.
- Verify and analyze results of physical inventory counts.
- Report inventory audit findings and activity along with recommendations to department and company leaders.
- Work with location Managers on resolving inventory discrepancies and ensuring the best practices of inventory management are being followed.
- Investigate and resolve inventory issues at assigned locations.
- Assist in the development of the auditing team and expansion of auditing methods.
- Analyze inventory trends and generate reports to anticipate future needs.
- Determine best placement and appropriate quantities of available inventories at all active locations.
- Provide analytical insight pertaining to inventory-related policies and procedures, data collection/analysis methods and communication methods.
- Analyze inventory movement data and uses knowledge to enhance overall operations.
- Opening & Closing warehouse and conducting appropriate security checks
- Serve as designated point of contact for questions about the warehouse
- Maintaining the general condition of the warehouse including cleanliness, adhering to safety standards, and timely maintenance requests
- Arranging inventory to best fit FIFO (First In First Out) or like system to ensure rotation of stock
- Coordinate inventory results with Strategic Sourcing Department and inventory owners
- Completing and posting copies of bills of lading (BOLs) or other paperwork
- Load or unload supplies to or from trucks and trailers
- Load or unload supplies to or from warehouse
- Open, sort and distribute incoming correspondence and correspondence forwarded from other facilities
- Perform data entry and scan documents for all facilities as applicable
- Assist in resolving any administrative problems at all facilities
- Other duties as assigned

- Associate degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or relevant field, required.
- Bachelor’s degree, preferred.
- 5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or warehousing, required.
- 3+ years of experience in a leadership, supervisory, or team lead position, required.

- Must pass a drug test, motor vehicle record check, occupational health physical and lift test (if applicable), credit check (if applicable), and a background check upon accepting a conditional offer of employment.
- Must possess a valid driver's license. Have/maintain a clean driving record.
