Duties And Responsibilities

- Provides guidance and support to the business on all HR related inquiries, including serving as the first point of contact for HR questions and requests via email and shared phone line, tracking inquiries in the case management system, providing ongoing assistance to HR technology users, and escalating complex inquiries to appropriate subject-matter-expert.
- Executes the pre-employment and onboarding process for all new hires including monitoring the status of applicable pre-employment screenings, I-9s and onboarding forms, assisting with document completion and providing guidance to the business on points of escalation.
- Processes and maintains all employee data in the HCM system including new hire information, job changes, terminations, promotions, and other HR-related data.
- Executes end-to-end processing of unemployment claims, including gathering necessary documentation, verifying eligibility, submitting claims to third-party vendors, maintaining detailed records of client interactions and claim progress in case management system for tracking, and providing support and education to leaders on documentation requirements and procedures for filing.
- Serves as the primary point of contact for the business regarding work authorization inquiries and assists with internal and external audits related to work authorization and immigration compliance.
- Collaborates with internal HR teams when specific expertise is necessary to formulate and deliver the best possible response to internal customers.
- Performs all assigned tasks accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with applicable policies and procedures.
- Maintains confidentiality and privacy of employee and company sensitive data.

- Associate’s Degree preferred.
- Work may be performed in an office, remote office, or a combination of both where a computer and office equipment may be used as needed to perform duties.
- Regularly required to sit, reach, grasp, stand and move from one area to another.
- Constantly and repeatedly use keyboard/mouse.
- Occasionally required to push, pull, bend, lift and move up to 25 lbs.
- Minimal travel required as needed for job related duties such as training, project work and administrative tasks.
