Description

You will work \#hybrid on-site with Coke, 3 days a week .

You will provide a high level of support for the implementation of Category Management, Analytics, Insights and other related business insights initiatives supporting Target .

You will demonstrate a high-level understanding of the sales trends and drivers that affect Retailers, Brands, and Consumers working with cross-functional teams to deliver advanced, value-added, and insight-driven analytics and recommendations .

Responsibilities

  • Leverage Target POS/Vendor IQ, Circana, Nielsen, CKS , Numerator, etc. to analyze data to develop insights-based analysis / projects with recommendations focused on strategies and objectives
  • Participate in the category review or line review processes, working with other cross-functional teams to provide complete category management solutions .
  • Independently develop and maintain client-specific reporting that measures performance against strategies and objectives.
  • Build solid presentations using multiple data sources, such as syndicated, panel, basket, shopper, and other sources of data, that provide solutions and recommendations to address business issues.
  • Maintain connectivity with clients, and attend all required meetings/calls to ensure
  • understanding of KPIs, innovation , and other important information.
  • Work closely and often with assigned clients and business managers by setting up regular meetings to become a trusted advisor
  • Provide follow-up and summarize results


Qualifications

Education Requirements:

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
  • Category Management Certification (preferred)
  • Related work experience can be substituted for educational requirements


Work Experience Requirements:

  • 3 – 5 years related work experience, preferably supporting mass or grocery channel and Target experience a plus


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Requirements:

  • Experience with syndi cated data and space management software and analysis related to shelf merchandising
  • Identify and leverage relevant data to diagnose situations and identify potential solutions
  • Effectively and independently conduct data mining utilizing CPG math concepts and tools .
  • Independently manage project plans and assume responsibility for tracking, communication, and timing.
  • Recognize problems and issues and identify the info needed to diagnose .
  • Demonstrate an advanced degree of proficiency in Windows and related software applications, including Excel , PowerPoint. Knowledge of Power BI would be a strong asset.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively while understanding and adapting to the audience .
  • Demonstrate a drive to meet the expectations and requirements of internal and external stakeholders
  • Execute strategic objectives and provide input as needed to keep priorities on track.
