Indian Rocks Christian School (IRCS) is seeking a dedicated and passionate Christian educator to teach Middle School Science. Elementary Certifications through ACSI are qualified to teach up to 8th Grade. The ideal candidate will be committed to Christ-centered education, integrating a biblical worldview into instruction while fostering students' curiosity, critical thinking, and academic growth in the sciences. Elementary Certifications through ACSI are qualified to teach up to 8th Grade.

• Teach middle school Science courses, providing students with a strong foundation in scientific concepts, inquiry-based learning, and problem-solving.
• Develop and implement engaging, hands-on lessons that align with IRCS’s curriculum and incorporate a biblical perspective on science.
• Foster a love for discovery by incorporating labs, experiments, and real-world applications into instruction.
• Encourage critical thinking, collaboration, and curiosity about God’s creation through classroom discussions and interactive activities.
• Integrate faith into learning experiences, helping students explore the relationship between science and biblical truth.
• Collaborate with colleagues and administration to support student growth, academic achievement, and spiritual formation.
• Actively participate in school events, professional development, and community activities as part of the IRCS team.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Science (Master’s degree preferred).
• Teaching credentials in Science, with demonstrated experience instructing middle school students.
• Strong commitment to Christian discipleship and the mission of Indian Rocks Christian School.
• A collaborative and supportive leader who exemplifies humility, drive, emotional intelligence, positivity, and unwavering loyalty to the IRCS vision and mission.
• Demonstrate a consistent Christian lifestyle and be willing to be an active member of Indian Rocks Church
• Demonstrate a consistent Christian lifestyle as referenced by the Mission Statement, Statement of Faith of Indian Rocks, and Leadership Guidelines of Indian Rocks
• Must be an active member of Indian Rocks with regular attendance in worship services, involvement in an Indian Rocks Life Group or Small Group and Commitment to systematic stewardship and faithful in tithing.
