The Opportunity

We are seeking a Regional Operations Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations and long-term performance across multiple Service Centers within your assigned region. This position is integral to driving efficiency, safety, and profitability, and you will work closely with departments such as Sales, Safety, Human Resources, and Maintenance.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Leadership & Oversight: Provide hands-on leadership and direction to Service Center Managers and their teams, ensuring consistent operational excellence across locations.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Sales, Safety, HR, and Maintenance teams to align service center operations with overall business goals.
  • Strategic Staffing Planning: Manage workforce planning, hiring strategies, and succession planning to support business needs and employee development.
  • Operational Performance: Establish and monitor KPIs, manage budgets, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to maximize regional efficiency and profitability.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to all DOT, OSHA, and company safety standards and regulations.
  • Field Engagement: Conduct regular visits to service centers to support leadership, assess performance, and foster employee engagement.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred
  • Experience: 5+ years of multi-site management experience in transportation, logistics, or a similar industry

Compensation

  • Compensation: $100,000 - $150,000 annually, based on experience and location.
  • Classification: Exempt, subject to all applicable state and federal laws.

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Frequent walking throughout the facility and between departments as part of daily operational tasks
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 20-25 pounds.
  • Ability to navigate each department and the company’s facilities as needed.
