Summary:

The Talent Acquisition (TA) Specialist will provide full recruiting life cycle support to include candidate sourcing, application, and resume review, consult with Hiring Managers, candidate interviews, and offer process. The TA Specialist will support the drive for best in class recruiting practices and strategies. The TA Specialist will work with the Talent Acquisition team to identify the best talent to fill open positions in a timely manner and in compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • As a member of the Talent Acquisition team, you will assist with the full recruitment cycle including creative sourcing solutions to identify, attract, and hire best in class talent in a timely and cost-effective manner for our Commercial Hub in San Francisco, CA, Parsippany, NJ office and the Science Center (San Diego).
  • Utilize job boards, social media, networking events, and other channels to attract and engage potential candidates.
  • Conduct initial candidate screenings to assess skills, experience, and cultural fit.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Assist with employer branding initiatives, including social media outreach and job postings.
  • Support the development of talent pipelines for critical and frequently recruited roles.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience by providing timely updates and clear communication throughout the hiring process.
  • Stay informed of industry trends, recruitment best practices, and market conditions.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, life science, or related field required
  • Minimum 2 years full life cycle recruiting experience in a corporate or agency setting. Pharmaceutical or Biotech strongly preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities:

  • Demonstrated knowledge in utilizing progressive sourcing options such as direct sourcing, web-based recruitment tools, networking, employee referrals, college, and diversity recruitment.
  • Familiarity with behavioral interviewing techniques (Targeted Selection)
  • Excellent customer service skills and an ability to offer a highly consultative approach when collaborating with internal and external clients.
  • Strong verbal, written and presentation skills and demonstrated strong negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Ability to track and implement recruitment metrics.
  • High attention to detail, problem solving skills and eager to learn.
