About This Role

The Accounts Payable Clerk will be responsible for managing the company’s outgoing financial obligations. This includes processing invoices, entering timecards, and maintaining accurate records in accordance with company policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will have 4–7 years of AP experience, strong Excel skills, and a working knowledge of state taxes and resale certificates.

What You'll Do

• Accurately process vendor invoices, ensuring proper documentation and approvals
• Perform data entry for timecards and ensure timely payroll processing support
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve invoice discrepancies in a timely manner
• Maintain accurate and organized AP files and records
• Assist with month-end closing processes related to AP
• Monitor and enforce company purchasing and invoice approval policies
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist with reporting, as needed
• Communicate effectively with vendors and internal departments
  
  

What You'll Bring

• 4–7 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role
• Associates degree in finance, accounting, or similar, preferred
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, formulas, etc.)
• Familiarity with state tax regulations and sales/use tax compliance, preferred
• Experience with Viewpoint Spectrum, preferred
• Experience with resale certificates is a plus
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
