The Quality Reliability Engineer leads cross-functional efforts to identify and reduce risks in processes and components, ensuring products meet engineering and customer standards. This role collaborates with various engineering teams, drives Quality Management System (QMS) compliance, and uses tools like Six Sigma, FMEA, and root cause analysis for continuous improvement. The QRE also supervises a team of quality professionals and works with internal departments and external suppliers/customers.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional risk assessments and improvement initiatives
- Collaborate across engineering teams to define responsibilities and close process gaps
- Update production processes via Engineering Change Notices
- Analyze failures using statistical tools and propose solutions
- Ensure compliance with quality systems and standards
- Oversee a team, providing guidance, scheduling, and feedback
- Bachelor’s in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering
- 3+ years’ experience with quality documentation (DFMEA, PFMEA, Control Plans)
- Preferred: ASQ CQE certification, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, HVAC experience
- Strong in quality assurance, problem-solving, and continuous improvement
- Effective communicator and leader
- Organized, adaptable, and team-oriented
- HVAC and manufacturing knowledge beneficial
