A Client Experience Manager at BarkleyOKRP is a resourceful problem solver who is seeking to learn from every project they touch - whether they are playing a supporting role or a lead role in a smaller project. They have a desire to understand the many steps of advertising and BarkleyOKRP's approach to whole brands. They are taking responsibility for some key steps in the process by providing day-to-day support. They are expected to be seamless and accurate with their responsibilities, and act with the anticipation of what is needed to deliver the best quality work on time as a team. This role will be client-facing and they will be expected to professionally engage with clients and proactively manage key deliverables assigned to them.

To succeed in this role, they must be flexible, highly organized and able to perform multiple tasks directly by supporting different teams and clients on an ongoing basis. They will manage day-to-day documents, communications, client deliverables, project delivery, and be a pro at proofreading all internal and client-facing documents.

Responsibilities:

CLIENT: Debut of Client relationship building

Exhibit understanding of a fast-paced client's business and anticipate challenges/solutions

  • Prepare for and attend client meetings and presentations
  • Ongoing, concise & clear client communications through note-taking, conference reports, emails, slides, and proofing of client presentations
  • Get trained on competitive business tools (at BarkleyOKRP) in order to deploy reports and support in competitive analysis and ongoing trend reporting that provides deeper understanding of client business

CREATIVE: Participation in whole brand thinking

Foresee next steps on creative projects, organize the team, and help drive the work

  • Contribute to ideation and offer knowledge of the client or industry competitive set during collaborative work sessions or creative reviews
  • Join in conversations around the Whole Brand (including The Red Thread, Brand Map, 5 Signs, or True Believer) and the work being created for the business
  • Shadow production to learn the trade hands-on including shoot prep, pre production, casting, editing, and overall creative production process.

COLLABORATION: Excellence in communications and team engagement

Work collaboratively with team members to deliver ideas and ensure quality implementation including: creative briefs, internal reviews, proofing, editing, versioning and file releases

  • Participates in a diverse and inclusive environment where each team member feels they can bring their best self and be respected and seen
  • Develop and maintain monthly billing trackers, POs, and estimates
  • Deliver accurate and timely trafficking, network clearance, and shipping of creative materials
  • Work collaboratively with client agency partners and vendors to traffic assets, manage talent tracking, and monitor deliverables
  • Be a detail-oriented project expert that partners with Project Management to manage timelines, impact of client changes/requests, and overall workflow
  • Proactively run all work through legal, talent and finance team members as needed

Qualifications:

  • 2 to 3+ years of experience within advertising agency setting preferred
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Must have strong interpersonal skills
  • Education or retail experience is a plus
