Sunstates Security is hiring Full-Time and Part-Time Security Officers in the Kansas City, Kansas area. All shifts and days are available. This position offers a pay rate of $18.45/hr, paid weekly.

Requirements

• Previous security, law enforcement, and/or military experience is preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must regularly stand or walk for extended periods of time and distance.
• Mentally analyze a situation, solve problems, and make decisions under pressure in the area of responsibility.
• Must be able to obtain a KCKS Security License.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be able to work all shifts, mornings, evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to pass criminal background and drug screen pre-hire.
  
  

A Security Officer may perform a multitude of duties as specified by the Post Orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). The Security Officer must read and become extremely knowledgeable of Post Orders and SOP and will be able to act quickly and efficiently according to such directives.

Education Requirements (Any)

High School diploma or equivalent

Certification Requirements (All)

KS Unarmed Security License
