Job Summary
As a Sr. Manager in NetApp’s enterprise segment, you will partner with a sales director and lead a team (including leaders) to grow market share in your assigned territory. For this role, that will be the west region, primarily covering California based customers. Guiding your teams to successful outcomes means you:
- Leverage technical, sales, and broader industry acumen to define effective go-to-market strategies for your region
- Hire, coach, develop, and retain top talent
- Set expectations and guide behavior to ensure readiness (and technical wins) against key focus areas
- Interact with partners and customers in your territory as part of go-to-market and growth strategies
- Identify and cultivate internal and external partnerships critical to your initiatives and your team’s success
- Coach your team around account and deal strategy, technical feasibility of proposed solutions, and implementation of products/applications/solutions
Job Requirements
- 8 + years’ experience, including at least 4 years’ experience as a people manager.
- Creativity and thought leadership to positively impact growth in assigned markets
- Ability to coach, equip, and support team members for maximum effectiveness
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a matrixed organization – and to identify and mobilize resources on behalf of the team
- Compelling industry, technology, and partner experience to create and execute a go-to-market plan
- Effectiveness in selecting, hiring, and developing results-oriented professionals
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills - including presentation skills and ability to dialog with senior and executive leadership
- A bachelor’s degree or additional equivalent experience in the above stated areas
