Purpose And Accountability

The Warranty Administrator will lead the Maintenance Support group’s effort in providing the best value and timely submission of warranty claims and working with the field locations to ensure compliance with warranty requirements, while controlling costs and improving the efficiency of inventory.

Pay Range for this role is $24.48/hr -$30.28/hr

  • Vacation: minimum of two (2) weeks
  • Sick days: 5 days
  • Holidays: 12 days; 8 standard and 4 floating

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Prepare and process warranty documentation according to manufacturer guidelines
  • Submit claims quickly and efficiently
  • Follow up with manufacturers to ensure claims are being processed properly
  • Adjust and resubmit any denied claims to secure payment for warranty work
  • Keep accurate inventory of ordered warranty parts and organize vendor paperwork
  • Assist in the development and implementation of best practices policies and procedures to control and manage the supply of materials
  • Evaluate the inventory Warranty needs for new location startupsand shutdowns.
  • Monitor Warranty inventory performance and trends
  • Provide central Warranty control and cataloging of new part numbers.
  • Update warranty information in EAM part files
  • Compile data for warranty claims processing
  • Assist locations with the control Warrantyinventory.
  • Work with Corporate Procurement in determining the requirements and specifications of materials to be sourced.
  • Perform audits on Warranty managementprocesses
  • Responsible for the implementation andcomplianceof corporate vendor agreements warranty process.
  • Assist with EAMsupport and administrative work as required.
  • Create reports as required.
  • Provide training to new field-based parts personnel.
  • Perform Warranty and Materials management training for field locations.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Work experience in the Maintenance and or Procurement fields would be beneficial.
  • Possess a high level of motivation with the ability to operate under minimal supervision and guidance.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Experience with constructing Excel Pivot tables.
  • Experience in transportation is preferred.
  • Excellent team building and project management skills.

Education Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent

  • 50% travel to offsite locations to meetings, trade shows and conferences.
