Superior Ford Automotive Technician Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently and accurately perform quality automotive repair and maintenance work in accordance with dealership’s and factory standards.
  • Perform and document vehicle diagnostics using the latest industry technologies.
  • Maintain an organized and neat shop area.
  • Road-test vehicles to ensure quality repair work was completed.
  • Comply with all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Communicate directly with service advisors regarding repair estimates and status of the service work as well as the estimated time for completion so that customers can be informed.
  • Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions in order to stay current with rapidly changing automotive technology.
  • Demonstrate behavior consistent with the Company’s Values in all interactions with customers, co-workers and vendors.


Superior Ford Automotive Technician Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years proven experience as a journeyman technician in dealership service department setting.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver license and a clean driving record.
  • Own your own tools and tool box
  • Current Ford “Stars” technical training certifications or ASE equivalents will be required to be considered for this position.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Professional appearance and work ethic
  • Have the ability and desire to FIX IT RIGHT THE FIRST TIME!
