What We NeedWe are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Systems Administrator for our Fort Smith, Arkansas, office. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive support to Landmark employees with software, hardware, and IT processes. The ideal candidate will also assist in ensuring network availability and efficiency and test, implement, and maintain system updates, software, and hardware.
What You’ll DoThe Systems Administrator is responsible for testing, implementing, and maintaining operating systems and related software. They troubleshoot and resolve issues related to software, operating systems, and networks. They coordinate system upgrades, ensuring smooth transitions from test to production environments, and they configure and deploy hardware devices such as printers, scanners, and monitors. This position provides technical support and guidance to Landmark employees and other IT personnel, performing a variety of tasks to ensure optimal IT operations.
Key tasks- Provide help desk support for user hardware and software issues.
- Install, update, and troubleshoot programs.
- Assist in testing new equipment and systems.
- Manage accurate hardware inventory.
- Manage network user accounts.
- Set up and deploy new computers.
- Create and maintain documentation for installation and troubleshooting.
- Deploy and maintain printers.
- Assist with server hardware maintenance.
- Troubleshoot network issues.
- Distribute peripherals (monitors, keyboards, etc.) as needed.
- Assist with meeting rooms and AV equipment.
- Provide support to Landmark clients as needed.
- Proficiency in Windows systems; Mac experience a plus.
- Strong troubleshooting, technical support, and documentation skills.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Knowledge of security protocols.
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals.
- Skills in business analytics and artificial intelligence are a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- One to three years’ experience.
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, etc. are a plus.
