Your Impact
The Logistics & Transportation Manager is a vital member of the Supply Chain Leadership. This role is responsible for all inbound and outbound logistics. This team member will work closely with the procurement team and the distribution team. The primary duty of Logistics & Transportation Manager is to control the movement of raw materials and finished goods so that customers receive items when due.

What You'll Do
- Negotiate contracts and maintain relationships with freight forwarders
- Enforcing industry laws and regulations and company policies
- Working with procurement managers and customers on product selection
- Negotiates contracts and maintain relationships with drayage providers
- Work with finance on a yearly basis to maintain Customs Bonds and Cargo Insurance Policy
- Planning and overseeing incoming container delivery
- Planning and overseeing outbound international logistics and transportation services
- Planning and analyzing budgets and expenditures
- Collaborate with Warehouse managers to maintain the Foreign Trade Zone
- Complies with and enforces the company wide Safety Program
- Works with your superiors to achieves financial objectives
- Maintains logistics team staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
- Maintains logistics team staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Monitor, manage, and communicate key KPI’s across all phases of operations
- Maintains logistics reporting for all business units
- Other duties as assigned
- Proficiency in logistics and inventory management software
- Proven experience in logistics management and supply chain management
- Experience in D365 is preferred
- Experience in Expeditors order management software is preferred
- Expertise in creating warehouse management procedures and best practices
- Strong knowledge of Logistics Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Leadership skills and ability to manage staff
- Strong decision making and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Batchelor Degree is preferred
