Job Purpose And Position Overview

All positions at HealthWell are designed to proactively further its efforts in meeting its mission. Specifically, persons in this position assist in leading industry updates related to our donors in cooperation with HealthWell’s Development team. As part of the Development team, persons in this position will support the Senior Manager, Corporate Giving & Development with pipeline research, data entry, reporting, general development assistance, and trade show attendance. In addition, persons in this position will assist the Senior Manager, Individual Giving & Development with donor reports, donor inquiries and other deadline-based responsibilities.

Areas of Responsibility

  • Provide web-based pipeline intelligence for current and potential corporate donors.
  • Assist Development team with data entry and recording of donations from individuals.
  • Assist Senior Manager, Individual Giving & Development with data entry, maintaining donor records, managing data entry duplicates, and running donor reports through CRM.
  • Assist Senior Manager, Individual Giving & Development with processing individual donor acknowledgements, tax receipts, and fielding donor inquiries.
  • Assist Senior Manager, Individual Giving & Development with maintaining up-to-date state charity registrations.
  • Attend trade shows/conferences to promote the organization.
  • Other duties as requested.

Technical Qualifications & Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or 3+ years equivalent work-related experience in Nonprofit, Business, Fundraising, or related field preferred.
  • Healthcare industry or relevant experience and understanding.
  • Nonprofit fundraising and development experience and understanding.
