Job Description:
The Cybersecurity Analyst protects IT (Information Technology) and OT (Operational Technology) systems against cyber threats. This role entails securing data and communication networks (IT) while safeguarding physical production processes (OT) from potential disruptions. Key responsibilities include monitoring vulnerabilities, implementing protective measures, and responding to incidents to ensure continuous operations. Distinguishing between IT and OT is essential since IT primarily handles data management and communication, while OT focuses on control and automation within manufacturing processes. The Cybersecurity Analyst will closely collaborate with other IT Team members and actively drive implementation of best practices.

Job Description:
The Cybersecurity Analyst protects IT (Information Technology) and OT (Operational Technology) systems against cyber threats. Key responsibilities include monitoring vulnerabilities, implementing protective measures, and responding to incidents to ensure continuous operations. Distinguishing between IT and OT is essential since IT primarily handles data management and communication, while OT focuses on control and automation within manufacturing processes. The Cybersecurity Analyst will closely collaborate with other IT Team members and actively drive implementation of best practices.
- Monitoring and Incident Response: Continuously monitor OT/IT network traffic for security incidents and respond promptly to any detected threats, ensuring minimal disruption to manufacturing processes.
- Risk Assessment and Vulnerability Management: Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability scans on OT/IT systems to identify and mitigate potential security risks.
- Policy Development and Enforcement: Develop, implement, and enforce cybersecurity policies and procedures that ensure the separation of OT and IT networks and comply with industry standards and regulations.
- Security Awareness Training: Provide employees with training and awareness programs on best practices for OT security, emphasizing the importance of maintaining OT/IT separation.
- Implementation of Security Controls: Assist in installing and managing security controls such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption tools specifically designed for OT environments.
- Incident Documentation and Reporting: Document and report all security incidents and responses, conducting post-incident analysis to improve future security measures and protocols.
- Bachelor of Computer Science or Bachelor of Cybersecurity required
- At least five years of network or system engineering experience AND at least five years of experience as a Security Operation Center (SOC) or Cybersecurity Analyst required.
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) desired
- This is a hands-on role; the successful candidate should have in-depth experience managing IT systems.

Compensation & Benefits:
This is an on-site, full-time position located in Spokane, WA.
