Working Conditions:
Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment; hot when weather is hot and cold when weather is cold. Greasy, dirty and noisy environment. Work involves lifting, pulling and/or pushing of materials and product up to 50 pounds. Standing and walking considerable distances. Operation requires the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) to include but not limited to; eye safety glasses, hearing protection, work boots, and hardhats. Loose fitting clothes and jewelry are not permitted.
1.2. Ability to use hands to clean, and lift objects to chest height.
1.3. Must be able to work with others, with minimal supervision and meet deadlines.
1.4. Must be able to work with a flexible or rotating schedule which may require over-time and weekends when needed.
1.5. Ability to communicate clearly using company provided radio.
1.6. Experience using cleaning solutions.
2.2. Carries out and manages directives given by the HSE Manager.
2.3. Inspects work areas to ensure high quality of work.
2.4. Coordinate Facility Support schedule/coverage and PTO with guidance from the HSE Manager.
2.5. Monitor attendance/timeliness and report negative trends to the HSE Supervisor.
2.6. Ensure the cleanliness of the facility and buildings.
2.7. Ensure to maintain the security requirements of the facility.
2.8. Maintain and track Facility Support supplies, equipment, materials, and vehicles while ensuring to meet budget requirements.
2.9. Determine project areas where deep cleaning can be scheduled.
3.2. Track stock of all needed supplies/equipment and coordinates restocking as needed.
3.3. Ensure the inspection, documentation, and maintenance of Facility Support vehicles.
3.4. Use cleaning solutions to remove stains and clean surfaces.
3.5. Inform HSE Department with any issue revolving anyone not cleared to enter the facility.
3.6. Clean all building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them.
3.7. Ensure to gather and empty trash.
3.8. Schedule and service, clean, and replenish supplies in restrooms.
3.9. Plan to clean and polish furniture and fixtures.
3.10. Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.
3.11. Mix water and detergents in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications.
3.12. Strip, seal, finish, and polish floors.
3.13. Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
3.14. Clean and service restrooms with mops and disinfectants.
3.15. Prevent infestation of insects and rodents.
3.16. Periodic deep cleaning/waxing/buffing/stripping of floors as assigned by supervisor.
3.17. Ensure an efficient use of the cleaning supplies.
3.18. Employee must follow all PPE policies and safety rules.
3.19. Monitor manual and/or automated control access gates/doors for entry or exit.
3.20. Ensure all visitors, delivery drivers, customers, and employees have proper PPE before allowed access on company property.
3.21. Ensure drivers of all trucks, truck tractor semi-trailer combinations and all truck tractors check in before entering the facility.
3.22. Use courteous communication when giving instructions to visitors and guest at all access points.
3.23. Employee must follow all PPE policies and safety rules.
3.24. Other duties as assigned.
4.2. This position has the authority to stop work at any time that is deemed necessary for reasons of safety.
