Description

Position Overview:

Responsible for the development and performance of all sales activities with NANL Peddle Team. Directs NANL Team, providing leadership, guidance, and coaching toward achieving maximum profitability and growth with company vision and values.

Essential Job Functions

  • Manages all crucial NANL Team activities to result in increased sales, gross profit, market share, and visibility
  • Cascade all mandates and authorizations for suppliers to NANL Team
  • Ensure all supplier mandates and authorizations are completed by NANL Team within appropriate timelines
  • Set the team strategy and vision to achieve divisional objectives
  • Coordinate, prioritize, and execute sales activities for the NANL Team
  • Work with NANL Team to identify opportunity areas and coach them to improve their professional skill set
  • Deliver and communicate business strategy solutions with NANL Team
  • Create and maintain a positive and engaging team culture
  • Develop, study, train, and communicate industry trends, data, and business solutions
  • Work with the NANL Team in the market, conduct monthly one-on-one, and team meetings
  • Ensure that Accounts Receivable for NANL Team is within company guidelines
  • Work with Portfolio Managers to ensure that NANL Team has appropriate and necessary Point of Sale items at all times for supplier programming

Requirements

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and a high achiever
  • Ability to continually expand knowledge of complex brands and selling strategies
  • Strong understanding of consumer and brand marketing
  • Demonstrated strong sales performance abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook
  • Exceptional ability to build relationships with strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently, demonstrate initiative, and be accountable for results
  • Ability to travel and work non-traditional hours

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • College degree or equivalent work experience/training/education preferred
  • Minimum 2 years’ sales experience, preferably in the beverage industry
  • Candidate must possess a valid Massachusetts driver’s license and registration

Physical Demands And Environment

  • Occasional physical exertion including the regular lifting of objects weighing up to 25 pounds and the occasional lifting of objects weighing up to 40 pounds
  • Work requires frequent standing or walking throughout the work day
  • Work requires considerable mental concentration to effectively execute complex tasks requiring periods of focused mental and visual concentration
  • Work requires travel and exposure to weather conditions while visiting customers, prospects or vendors
  • Potential for accidents due to over the road travel including traffic accidents, delivery of goods or the set up of displays
